Far away from the noise of everyday life, Sariba Desert Camp invites you to slow down and experience the beauty, silence and hospitality of the Rub Al Khali.
Surrounded by endless dunes and open skies, our camp offers a peaceful desert escape with a touch of traditional Bedouin life.
“Authentic Bedouin hospitality. Traditional surroundings. Endless desert skies.”
For generations, the desert has been home to Bedouin families who learned to live with the land and its challenges. Life was simple, but it required knowledge, patience and strong connections between people. Families travelled across the desert in search of water and pasture, relying on camels for transportation and learning to read the landscape, the weather and the stars.
The desert shaped their way of life — teaching them resilience, self-sufficiency and respect for nature. But above all, family and community were at the heart of Bedouin life.
Traditionally, family was the foundation of Bedouin society. Respect for parents and elders, caring for one another and sharing responsibilities were deeply valued.
The Majlis was an important part of daily life. It was a place to gather, welcome guests, share food and coffee, discuss family and community matters, and pass stories and knowledge from one generation to the next.
Hospitality was more than simply welcoming a visitor. It was a tradition, a responsibility and a matter of pride. These values remain an important part of Bedouin heritage today.
At Sariba Desert Camp, we invite you to experience a small part of this heritage in the heart of the Empty Quarter.
Our camp offers everything you need for an authentic and memorable desert stay:
You can also explore the surrounding dunes, enjoy a desert adventure or simply take in the sunset and the peaceful atmosphere of the Empty Quarter.
As the sun begins to disappear behind the dunes, the desert changes. The heat fades, the colours become golden and the vast landscape slowly falls into silence.
Gather in the Jalsa, enjoy a meal, share stories and watch the stars appear above you.
No city lights. No traffic. No distractions.
Just the desert, the people around you and the simple beauty of the moment.
Sariba Desert Camp is more than an overnight stop. It is a chance to disconnect from everyday life, discover the traditions of desert communities and experience the warmth of Bedouin hospitality.
Whether you join us for one night, a camel ride, a desert excursion or a longer adventure, we want you to leave with more than photographs. We want you to leave with a little piece of the desert and a better understanding of the people and traditions that have called it home for generations.
Whether you are travelling as a couple, with family, as a private group or as part of an organised tour, we would be happy to arrange your stay at Sariba Desert Camp.
Tell us your preferred dates and number of guests, and our team will help you plan your desert experience.
